About

This site

This website serves as a platform to share the work we do as a research group, invite participation in online experiments, provide access to open datasets and analytical tools, and share updates about our projects. You can explore our ongoing research in the Projects section.

Why the logo?

We wanted a logo that brings together three core ideas: public university, cognitive science, and something distinctly neuro. The building with the flag is inspired by the UNC Reform identity, a symbol of public, free, and secular higher education in Argentina. It references the iconic photo of the 1918 student movement.

Cognitive science is represented through a classic figure/ground illusion—we perceive a circle that isn’t actually there. The stroke completing the design evokes an action potential, the defining electrical signal of the nervous system.

Together, these elements reflect who we are: people from a public university doing cognitive neuroscience—or at least, some versions of it.
